2.0 Upgrades
Catapult has upgraded to version 2.0! It's now simpler than ever to have a great looking, professional, easy to use web site.
When your web site gets the upgrade from version 1.0 to version 2.0 there may be a few potential things to watch out for. In your version 1.0 web sites if an oversized item such as a picture, table or other element was accidentally placed into the content area it would distort the site and push it wider than intended. In 2.0 this will no longer happen, the oversized element will hang off the side of the page instead, giving your users a much better visual cue as to when an item is too large and should be resized.

Slideshows and Images
Most of the problems with too-large items that you are likely to run across involve tables, slideshow cards and images. Shown in the image below is an example of having too wide of a slideshow card (an oversized image may looks similar to this as well). These are both easy to change.

Double click the image slideshow widget card in the Catapult editor. Lowering the width to 625 or less will quickly resolve this. If necessary you can also lower the height as well when doing this (but there is generally no need).

Resizing images is just as easy as it ever was, select the image and drag the resizing handles until you have it at a size you like.

Tables
In the example below you can see an example of a table that has been set to be too wide and is hanging off the edge of the page.

To fix a table that has been set too wide, such as say 900 pixels or so, go into the Catapult editor and double click the card with the table in it. Right click inside of the table and select Table Properties.

Then simply change the width to be 100%.

If the content that happens to be within that table is too wide, such as say an overly large image, then the image will need to be resized.

Other Possible Instances
There may be some objects within your web site where the above mentioned instructions won't fix the problem, because the item in question is just simply too large. Below is an example of a table with too much inside of it width-wise, again causing the content to run off the edge of the page. The solution to repairing this is to rebuild the table so that it has less columns across and uses more horizontal rows down instead.

It's also possible that one of your site users may have inserted an external widget such as the one pictured below. There is nothing that can be done directly inside of Catapult to edit the sizes of elements or widgets such as these. You must go back to the originating web site and generate a new one of a smaller size. If by chance a smaller size cannot be acquired, or if for some other reason your content can't be made to fit, then please feel free to contact us for assistance.
