A great way to personalize your website and increase visitors is to customize your website banners.  In most of our packages, we include a rotating banner on the home and sub-pages.  This can be some work but I can tell you it will be well worth the effort in the end because people will love going to the site!  

The key here is variety.  Below are some tips that I think will really help you when taking your photos. 

• Provide us with at least 7 to 10 images for each school.
• Take the pictures in different locations. Take a perspective shot by lockers, in the front office, anything that make your school unique and recognizable.
• Change the number of children and make the pictures student focused.  Take pictures of the children with teachers, principals, janitors, bus drivers, the more the better! 
• Take the pictures with width in mind.  The banners are always wider then tall.  Send the full digital picture to my design team and we will crop the image but without width in mind we lose detail.
• Focus on faces not the whole body.  The engaging part is the face so try to take pictures from the waist up.
• Keep in mind your schools ethnic demographics.  Try to represent everyone equally.
• Think about activities.  Could be football, could be chess, could be a team prepping for a rally.  All of these situations bring back found memories for not only the students but for the parents.
